Every newborn deserves a safe ride home and a safe place to sleep.
In metro Atlanta, hundreds of babies leave the hospital each year without access to a federally compliant car seat or a safe crib.
Without these essentials, babies face:
• Unsafe discharge from the hospital
• Unsafe sleep at home
• Delayed medical care
The Baby Pantry works directly with hospital partners to place new car seats and safe-sleep cribs into the hands of families before a baby goes home.
In 2026, our goal is to protect 1,000 newborn babies — one safe discharge, one safe night at a time.
