Erica Ahmed

Erica Ahmed, MA, MS, is a senior public health and executive communications consultant with more than two decades of experience supporting federal agencies, nonprofit organizations, and community-based initiatives across Washington, DC, New York City, Atlanta, and beyond. She brings deep expertise in health equity, Black maternal health, behavioral health, and strategic communications.

Erica has led large multidisciplinary teams and managed complex public health projects, including major communications portfolios for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Her work has spanned data modernization, HIV prevention, behavioral health, school-based mental health, and community-centered program evaluation. She has also provided executive-level DEI coaching, conducted qualitative research internationally, and contributed to strengthening communications around major federal public health initiatives.

A committed advocate for families and community wellness, Erica began her career supporting WIC recipients through the NYC Department of Health and has continued to center equity, compassion, and accessibility in every aspect of her work. She is also the founder of The Green Laundress, a non-toxic cleaning brand inspired by her daughter’s early skin sensitivity.

Erica holds a BA in Psychology and an MA in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University, and an MS in Health Education from Columbia University. She is honored to serve on the Board of Directors for The Baby Pantry, supporting its mission to ensure families have the essentials they need to thrive.

Blair S. Mortley

Blair S. Mortley is an Atlanta native whose life’s work is rooted in service, purpose, and empowerment. As a dedicated Wealth Strategist, Blair is passionate about helping families build generational wealth and restore the strength of the family unit. Her commitment to community runs deep—she proudly serves as the Community Engagement Specialist for The Baby Pantry, a role she embraced when her son was just five months old.

Driven by a global mission she shares alongside her husband, Blair inspires youth, young adults, and families to rise into the fullness of who they are called to be. Together, they are devoted to strengthening families, uplifting communities, and impacting future generations.

Blair blends wisdom from her personal journey, professional experience, education, and her faith in God to help others grow spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and financially. Her life is a testament to resilience, compassion, and purpose—inviting communities everywhere to dream bigger, live boldly, and build legacies that last.

Nicole Lescota

Nicole is a dedicated nurse leader with over twenty-seven years of direct patient care and 17 years of progressive leadership experience. A graduate of Emory University, she began her career as a labor and delivery nurse and has since held various roles, including childbirth educator and nurse leader. Nicole is certified in inpatient obstetrics, electronic fetal monitoring, and as an Advanced Nurse Leader.
In 2020, she joined Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA, as the Vice President of Women Services, where she significantly improved patient experience scores from the 12th to the 62nd percentile and enhanced maternal health outcomes. As chair of the training and education committee for High Reliability Organizational Improvement, she champions patient Safety. Nicole holds a master’s in nursing science and a Doctor of Nursing Practice, and she is an AONL Executive Nurse Fellow. Her commitment to women’s health, health equity, and team collaboration defines her leadership style and inspire those around her.

Dr. Darria Long

Dr. Darria Long is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician, national bestselling author, national media contributor and influencer on child and maternal health (@DrDarria), and the founder of No-Panic Parenting, a platform dedicated to helping families prevent life’s accidents, illnesses, and emergencies—and to know exactly what to do when they happen – with less burnout, and more peace of mind.

Dr. Darria is a regular medical expert on CNN and NBC, the TED speaker behind “An ER Doctor on Ending the Crazy Busy,” and a nationally recognized voice in family health and safety. Dr. Long serves as a national spokesperson for the American College of Emergency Physicians, is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Council on Injury, Violence, and Poison Prevention, and is an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee School of Medicine. Dr. Long completed her emergency medicine residency at Yale University, earned her MBA from Harvard Business School, and previously served on the Harvard Medical Faculty. She brings her expertise in child and maternal health, safety, and emergency care—as well as her deep commitment to supporting families—to her role on the board.

Vanessa Motley Coleman

Vanessa Motley Coleman is a seasoned operator and brand leader with over 15 years of experience building and scaling consumer brands across beauty, baby, personal care, and fashion. She currently serves as Senior Vice President at A Frame Brands, where she oversees growth and operations for founder-led brands including Loved01 by John Legend, Proudly by Gabrielle Union & Dwyane Wade, and KINLÒ by Naomi Osaka. Her work spans brand strategy, digital acceleration, retail expansion, product development, and building culturally resonant brands that meet the needs of diverse communities.
Vanessa is honored to serve on the Board of Directors for The Baby Pantry, where she brings deep expertise in operations, community-centered brand building, and accessible product innovation to support and advance the organization’s mission. She lives in Atlanta with her husband, Lowell, and their son, Atlas.

Jarvis Gatlin

With over a decade of experience in digital marketing, Jarvis Gatlin has learned to look beyond the numbers and data that often dominate the field. To him, the essence of marketing is understanding and addressing the fears, anxieties, pains, and aspirations of real people. It’s about creating meaningful projects that challenge the status quo and pave the way for individuals to live their best lives. His people-first, impact-driven approach sets him apart and guides the team’s efforts to make a substantial difference in the business community across Atlanta.

This mission demands not just skill but a shared vision of success—success measured not just in metrics, but in the positive change they bring to their clients and their customers.

Away from the digital realm, Jarvis’s life is a bustling and joyful composition of family and community service. Married with five children, he embraces the adventure of homeschooling, integrating upbeat music into their lessons to make learning a delightful experience. Additionally, he is deeply committed to giving back to the community, serving on the board of a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting new and expecting mothers in need.

In both his professional and personal life, Jarvis strives to be a catalyst for positive change, helping others navigate the complexities of the digital world and the journey of life with confidence and joy.
